Bhagavatha describes the Bhakta Prahlatha as given below :

“ Lord Sri Narashimha, after killing the demon Hiranya Kasipu, just looked at the Bhakta Prahladha and thought as follows : “ Such a small boy, brilliant and handsome one, who is the pure devotee of mine, filled with obedience, having rock hard faith on me !! He just lost his father, he saw his father got murdered by me, but still, he didn’t even shake a bit. Only the true Vaishanva can come out of the strong bonds of Maya ( materialistic wishes and worst feelings like anger, jealous, fear and greedy ). Only the true devotee can reach me any time without fear. True devotee doesn’t even need permission of mine to serve me. Also, this boy is one of the great devotees of mine !! “

Offering ghee lamp and Panakam ( Mixture of sugar and water, added with dry ginger peaces and lemon juice for good taste ) pleases the Lord very much.
